Course Description

This workshop is designed for beginners to familiarize and inform users on how to create a blogging platform for teachers and their students. Users will learn the basics in operation using Blogger.

• Learn about the essential functions and features of Blogger
• Examine a wide variety of educational applications to enhance instruction around CCSS
• Discuss how to effectively create a class blog
• Learn how to use blogging to promote 21st Century skills such as communication and collaboration in the classroom.

Common Core State Standards Connections

This professional development for teachers and administrators will give participants an understanding of the CCSS implementation in SFUSD. Participants will also learn about the integration of the CA-CCSS academic content standards addressed through technology-based instruction for purposes of improving the academic performance of pupils.
